What is Cin7 Pay?
Cin7 Pay is an embedded payment solution available directly within Cin7 Core and Cin7 Omni. Powered by Stripe, it enables our merchants to accept a variety of payment methods—including credit cards, ACH, digital wallets, and more—while streamlining payment processing, reducing manual work, and enhancing cash flow. With built-in fraud protection, fast payouts, and seamless integration, Cin7 Pay simplifies how businesses manage and process payments, all in one platform.
What sales channels does Cin7 Pay work with?
Cin7 Pay allows Cin7 customers to receive payments from their customers via:
- Links to a payment gateway (an online checkout experience) embedded within invoices (the paying customer clicks a link in an email or PDF and can pay via that link).
- The online checkout process offered within the B2B portal.
- Directly “keying in” payments via the sales module.
At this time, Cin7 Pay does not yet work with the point of sale (POS) application, but we are looking to expand it to allow for in-person/terminal payments in 2025.
Is my business a good fit for Cin7 Pay?
Cin7 Pay is a great fit for businesses that use (or plan to use) Cin7 Core or Cin7 Omni, operate in an eligible country (see below), and primarily handle B2B transactions with card-not-present payments. You can accept payments through invoices, the B2B portal, and the sales module. The only exceptions are businesses selling pharmaceuticals (prescription or OTC) or CBD/THC products.

Yes, Cin7 Pay is a partnership between Cin7 and Stripe. Cin7 Pay uses Stripe technology, embedded within Cin7 Core and Cin7 Omni, to easily handle payment processing administration and integrated payment completion from within Cin7 applications.
